Earth and raspberry nose, with a hint of meat. Nicely balanced and medium bodied, and delightful. Smooth finish, and fine tannins. You know it's going to be a good evening when a Crozes comes up from the cellar, and this fits the bill! — 4 years ago
Aromas: cherry, spice, a bit of farmyard. Very easy to drink withn soft tannin, strawberry flavours and a dry finish. Good length. — 5 years ago

Nice nose and fruit. Though not absolute top shelf Syrah , should represent good value and long life. Worth taking a flyer to hold — 9 months ago
Interesting red with bright fruit and barn yard funk. Paired well with my pork loin and oriechette with mushroom Bolognese. — 3 years ago

A lovely bottle that transports you to warm summer months. Easy yet very flavorful, I love sharing this on the porch after a long day. — 5 years ago
Tasted blind...initially very tannic but settled down after a few minutes (or my palate was subdued into compliance). Elegant notes of dark, tart red fruit and earthy spices. Black pepper and smoke complimented the finish, which was tart but appropriate and enjoyable. I was surprised on the age but in hindsight this was a good thing, as the tannin has mellowed enough to allow for the fruit to really come through. Overall a very well done wine.
