On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry with notes of pepper, smoke and earthy herbs. Soft smooth tannins, long finish ending with a fruit and smoky cedar character. Classic Margaux with graphite of pencil shavings, rich in fruits, black tea. Fragrant and graceful. Pure elegance.

3eme GC Classé, but considered as SuperSecond. 47% CS, 47% M, 6% PV. Fermented in steel cone-shaped vats. 21mo aging in 45% new oak. Fining, no filtration.

'89 was a super vintage for Palmer.

The only true competitor to Ch.Margaux.

👃 is incredible. Black and blue fruit + olive.

Pale lemon with aromas of stone and tropical fruits. Made from 40-year old vines, aged in 100% stainless steel. On the palate flavors of bright lemon citrus with crisp apple and peach notes. This wine isn’t supposed to be this good. Still a derp purple with rich fruit, chocolate and hints of cedar. Extremely well balanced it just hits every part of the palate. My wife and I had a mini steel cage match to finish the bottle. Yes she won. — 8 years ago
