@Kay Delectable this is the Lenswood Vineyard PN. Super subtle and silky drinking PN. Strawberries and raspberries in the nose. Even some good old Burgundy horse stable…. Good fresh acidity. Will be paired with Duck with some port sauce but perhaps it will not make it that long 🤣. — 3 years ago
Strawberries and a bit of earthiness. Purchased at the cellar door in 2019. — 3 years ago
2003 vintage. For my ca$hi$h, still, consistently, the sexiest, most voluptuous red Bordeaux out there. Medium-heavy body. This kicked in the door to “the zone” recently without knocking and is set up for the next 10-12 years easily. Such a fantastic balancing act of fruit and structure. Total and blissful synergy. . 9.25.23. — 8 months ago
DAY 1
Served with the Vinloq System
👃Powerful:Smoke, dark fruit. Meaty. Horse sweat. Musky. Earthy. Florals. So much going on
👅Sweet red & dark fruits with smoke & earth. Fresh. Solid acidity. Mellow tannins. Full bodied but lithe. Drinking well 🙌
Remaining wine Slow Decanted in my refrigerator
DAY 7
👃Smoky, musky, horsey with red/dark fruit & kirsch
👅Cranberry/raspberry, smoke, bacon, iron, spice, & stones
Hitting all of the notes on DAY 7 but I preferred the unbridled 🐎 intensity of DAY 1
-1st bottle 4 years ago was closed hard.
Not Closed Now!
-Lots of Old World character from this Christophe Baron wine that is part of the Cayuse stable
-This was the first vintage of Sur Echalas Grenache so it will be interesting to see the trail it blazes with more bottle age🍷

Some funky smoky sulphidic nutty notes on the nose. The palate is in the leaner style - more savoury and mineral than fruit driven. A modern Australian Chardonnay showing earlier picking giving a more delicate light to medium weight palate with citric acid and good persistence. Will be visiting the Cellar Door in the Adelaide Hills at the end of the month and hopefully catch up with Delectable friend @Scott Rowe — 3 years ago
2005 vintage. Decanted and open for 3.5 hours before tasting. Intense and spicy richness in the frontal palate/gums. Harmonious the rest of the journey. Very very close to opening the door to the hall of mirrors and entering the "zone" of optimal drinking. Still pretty youthful and no rush to crush. At least two decades of gorgeous enjoyment ahead. Even the greatest wines change themselves in the looking glass. 5.17.23. — a year ago

Boom. Huge Cali cab. Powerful nose of dark fruit with a hint of tar/tobacco. Smooth and lithe in the mouth. Really nice. — 4 months ago
