Mid to deep crimson in colour. Notes of black olive, geranium, red capsicum (peppers). Very dusty and herbaceous. More savoury than fruit driven. Next one in a year. Definitely the most lavish cellar door in Margaret River and a must visit if you are in the District. Had another bottle 70 weeks later on 11th April 2022 with consistent notes - say 91 points.

Dec 3rd, 2020Nose of blackberry and mulberry together with Margaret River herbaceousness. Charred oak notes as an accompaniment not dominating. Medium weight palate with a degree of elegance. Touch of astringency. Could have done with more mid palate fruit. Drink remaining 3 bottles in next few years. Definitely the most palatial cellar door and grounds in Margaret River and a must visit in a trip to the region. No expense spared.

Jul 26th, 2020Classic Margaret River Cabernet aromas of Tomato Bush/Herbs/ Spice - good aromatic intensity. Medium bodied palate but expecting more mid palate power. More in the elegant style. Cellar another 3-5 years, not up to 15 as the label suggests.
