A multiple tasting of global brown spirits, but dinner of enchiladas with locally sourced ingredients was perfectly paired to the ultimate of Green Chile vodka from none other than St. George's (Alameda, CA).
Happy 2022>2023 Delectable Family.
I was lucky enough to land one of the current COVID variants during my Holiday break, yet 'luck' is one word for the situation. Fortunately symptoms were mild but my palate is twisted, so hopefully 2023 brings a reset. — 2 years ago
Brought this gin back from Aberystwyth, the town on the Welsh coast where Prince Charles studied the language before becoming the Prince of Wales. This one is spicy and piney. Reminds me of a Welsh version of St. George's Terroir Gin. Enjoying it over a bit of ice. — 4 years ago
Jameson Gold purchased 17 years ago. This is s different whiskey than what they sell now. Fantastic, a classic. — 10 years ago

How does anyone not hoard (regular) Sazerac at ~$25?!
Incredibly smooth, great sweet note to the finish. Again, why haven't I not been buying this for years...?
(BTW Kirkland Bourbon at $30 is worth the price of admission, earthy oak note on the palate is quite similar to Buffalo Trace.)
Counter-Clockwise from top left:
Buffalo Trace (single-barrel selection), Jefferson's Reserve Very Old/Very Small Batch, Knob Creek (9yo), Kirkland Bourbon (7yo), St George single-malt (SM 015), Hillrock (Ancram NY, solera aged, Barrel No. 174), Berkshire Mountain Distillers Shay's Rebellion and Wild Turkey Master's Keep (Batch 0001, 17yo). — 3 years ago
