Robust viognier based blend that is heavy enough to please chardonnay drinkers but breezy enough to please the casual wine-o who wants something for a nice summer day on the porch. Loved it! — 9 years ago
At Dylan & Jeni's house. Bought at Spiral building. Beautiful orange wine — 9 years ago
Round two wrestling the creamy grapefruit leviathan. Orange and pomelo nose with golden raisin dried mango and dried pineapple. Creamy, rolling entry turns pithy and sharp like black lime on tin foil. Giant grapefruit note grenades the middle, spiral-sliced into lemon peel, with a touch of candied lemon peel on the tip of its citric tail. — 10 years ago
Nice La Mission 2nd where the tannins are structured but soft and complementary to the blend. More dark fruit than red. The fruit is starting its downward spiral - but it just started!! — 2 years ago

The nose a little shy. Muted fruits of; lemon, lime, light grapefruit, green melon, light green apple, honey notes, soft granite minerals, powdery chalkiness, a little white spice, white & yellow flowers.
The body is medium with incredible mouthfeel. It round, rich and a touch waxy. Fruits of; lemon, lime, light grapefruit, green melon, light green apple, honey notes, soft granite minerals, powdery chalkiness, a little white spice, white & yellow flowers. The acidity is round and perfect. The rich, lush, elegant, well balanced finish is fantastic.

Holy Smokes! This is crazy whiskey! Roasted corn in a hot caramel spiral with toffee and coffee notes. Unreal organic expressions of gum Arabic, banana cream, cocoanut, linseed oil, sunflower and hazelnut oils, redwoods, cherrywood, lemongrass, sweet leather and cigar box perfumes. Rosemary, bamboo, marinated leather and peppermint oils rise in smoke form to acquiesce to the heat of ephemeral perfection. #Stagg #bourbon #whiskey #lfk #ftw #bestbourbon — 9 years ago
This Riesling is dry with wonderful intense Granny Smith Apple flavors and a dab of honey to the finish. It is a perfect accompaniment to spicy foods. — 10 years ago
This is an amazing beer. Delicious! — 10 years ago
Very smooth and easy drinking. — 3 years ago
And now for a golden oldie! Borders on baked golden apple, poire William notes, green apple slices, and even green apple hard candy. Green pear in a pineapple wash, orange bread, pear tart, dinner roll with orange marmalade. Half-dried lemon juices spiral down pile of acid and minerality. Shows it’s age in all other ways, but acid remains unbroken. Baked crab apple, radish fringe, baked grapefruit but just browned, sour mandarins, lemon and lime piths pull it back to its sinew. Really amazing wine. Endless citrus finish.

This totally encapsulates my feelings today, my sadness over the loss of a great icon. Tobacco, darkness, rough and tumble weathered psyche. This wine brings you that much closer to feeling that death spiral, though you realize your biological levity will intervene. Others aren’t so lucky. This wine is a toast to someone who could not conquer darkness himself, but nurtured his inner darkness to bend the rest of us toward the light. May you finally feel at home, restless wanderer. — 8 years ago
These guys don't always make wine, but when they do, it's awesome! — 9 years ago
Cantaloupe rind, grape-y feet, lemon seed, darjeeling tea with lemon zest, sugar sculpture, wheat biscuit nose over cork oak. Hazelnut, oak, brimming with acanthus and a tight spiral of cinnamon oil and cherry cough drop. Loosens to reveal fig, orange bitters, peppercorn, brushy evergreen shrubs, campfire wood smoldering hot to smoky resins, juniper, smoke-point olive oil, and singed paper. Remember this having a sweetness at bottle's dawn, but alas, dear chaps, we have reached the end, and she is smoldering like a pyrotechnic fuse. August and stolid, amplified, and robust for a highland lady! Give her a dance, but it is she who shall do the spinning! — 10 years ago

Wine stimulates our sense of smell and taste but in this case it also created a tidal wave of emotion. Through a tremendous act of generosity a dear friend shared this special bottle when he heard me lament I was not able to secure a bottle of wine to celebrate my mother’s 100 birthday. My friend stood the bottle up for several days. We decided it made sense to PnP. As you can see the cork was intact and the color of the wine defied its age. The excitement to take that first sniff was overwhelming for me. Old but alive scents wowed me. Lots of tobacco, leaves, leather and dried fruit. In the mouth those same scents were transferred to my palate thanks to a tsunami of acid. At about the one hour mark the wine quickly entered a death spiral. I cannot imagine another bottle of wine that will ever conjure up that amount of emotion and happiness. When I described my experience to my mom, a very broad smile came over her face. A blessing to share this experience with my mom and a privilege to taste a wine like this. — 2 years ago
