Great Cab! Enjoying the blackberry notes with first and every sip and it’s luscious and delicious! — 2 months ago
Tasting the 2020 Soul of a Lion at Daou in Paso. And coincidentally, we were there on their last weekend as an independent winemaker. A nice goodbye before the corporates take over. Dark and concentrated. Beautiful cab. — 5 months ago

2007 vintage. Opened around 50 degrees. Decanted and kept in the 58-62 degree range with the decanter placed atop an (mostly) ice bath. Tasted after 25 minutes and 4.5 hours. Heavy body. Just enough acidity to slowly propel this effort along all palate phases. Total showstopper. Overlook/dismiss/avoid the SQN whites at your own peril. 2.15.24. — a month ago
