2016 vintage at local Italian restaurant, delicious, full bodied $88 — 7 months ago
This was sailing… meaty nose of rich burnt ends coupled with plum jam. Palate was viscous and mineral driven. S little too much acidity with a slightly citrus finish. Nice juxtaposition with the Siro, but this was always destined for second place tonight. — 2 years ago

I had given up on the Delectable App and surrendered to the thought I lost all my wine reports, but hey, it still seems to be alive and actually working much better. So hoping for the best, I am going to keep my scores again. Here an okay Brunello. Certainly not great. Strong acidic note that kept the fruit and complexity hidden. Storing it for one day made it worse. Not sure how both WS and JS scored it 95+. — a month ago

2 of 3 wines we tried tonight. Extremely smooth Brunello. Lighter bodied than the Shane and Arkenstone but held its own. Nice finish and smooth fruits. — 8 years ago
1995: Bottle in great shape. Fresh, fruit still youthful. The usual Brunello flavor profile, with good length. Not that complex, yet very solid and enjoyable. — 11 years ago
Deep garnet color, high acidity and still plenty of tannins. Smell of red fruit, cedar, flint. Medium full body, some tertiary flavors mixed with red fruit, plum, pomegranate, espresso . Long finish — 6 months ago
No formal notes. Sweet mix of black/red fruit, ripe yet assertive tannins, nice mid-palate juice, leathery. Structured and quiet now, shows potential. — 6 years ago
Bright red cherry. Forest notes, lighter body, good acid. — 10 years ago
Medium tannins, low acid, dry, delicious! — 11 years ago
