Excellent. Fresh, fruity, and very drinkable. Juicy and delicious. Quite dry. Little finish, but who cares. Wish I bought more. — 3 months ago
Well balanced, hints of under-ripe fruit — maybe melon and pear. Tastes like Chardonnay grape. Finish is interesting and slightly metallic. Quite nice, an unexpected surprise. — 4 months ago
Intense red color, blueberry raspberry flavor. Chewy minerally texture. Mild acidity. Beautiful aroma — 2 years ago
Much prefer this 2020 vintage over 2021 and slightly over 2022. 2020 created a very floral and moderately fruit-forward nose that is still dry with high-minus acidity. Minerality typical of FLX Riesling is there. Finishes shorter than I like. — 2 months ago
Love this producer and love the single vineyard rieslings. There is an acetone type funk on the note. Steely minerality, white flowers, delightfully dry. — 3 months ago

We had the pleasure of opening the 2021 Hermann J. Wiemer.
On the nose there was nice strawberry, cranberry, raspberry, herbaceous notes and green bell pepper.
On the palate there was good strawberry, raspberry, red plum, green bell pepper, a bit of oak and crushed gravel.
This is a medium bodied wine with light velvety mouthfeel medium to medium + acidity and medium to medium + fine tannins that leaves with a medium to medium + red fruit gravel dust finish. Well it looks as though spring can't make up her mind. This weekend looks to be a bit on the cooler side so lets get out and enjoy ourselves. Please stay safe and healthy. BAM goes the nose. Full of banana, minerality, slight petrol, mango, grass, and more. Palate isn’t quite as full. That plus medium minus acidity drops the score a little lower than other Wiemer rieslings. — 5 hours ago
