Natural Southwest French white blend for under 15$-Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris, semillion & Chenin Blanc. I don’t like Alsatian blends but this I do: like a rich Muscadet. Floral but not heavy on the Sauvignon Blanc, balanced. Celebration of lifting of Covid restrictions in New York State, with friends on the Hudson — 4 years ago

Had the 2014 vintage this time. Black cherries, black berries, wood and spices, pepper, white chocolate, tobacco. Full-bodied with an amazingly round warm palate. Never-ending finish. — 4 years ago
Apple. Very clean. A lot of bubbles. Yum! — 4 years ago
Light, acid and citrus fruits. White varietals make it less dense than typical red blends. Good for at home, every day drinking. — 2 years ago
Lovely with Italian beef sandwiches and fries — 4 years ago
Cardboard and dust at first glance. Then smokey and spicy hints of smoke. Medium-bodied with a rich palate and coffee aftertaste. Super technical, amazingly constructed. — 4 years ago

Chilled and opened about an hour before dinner and allowed to gently come to temp. Served alongside charcoal grilled Thai sausage, sticky rice, coconut Thai curry, herb salad, shallot, lime, garlic, chiles. Straw color, off-dry and a perfect pairing with the first course. Lychee, honey, white flowers and great acid. This is the kind of synergy you dream for in a wine pairing. Drink now but I expect this will drink well for a long time. Quite possibly the best experience I’ve ever had with Gewurztraminer. — 2 months ago
