Not as crazy a floral nose as some gewutrz. Soft oily poised palate. Beautifully balanced and lush on the tongue. A hint of sweetness but really yummy

elegant. Intense aroma Stands out, rose, lychee, spice. off dry, mid acidity, lingering aftertaste with some bitterness. well integrated.

Mid to deep Lemon in colour with brilliant clarity. Notes of Lychee and a hint of nutmeg. Very much alive at 10 years of age. Typical Gewürztraminer palate to be luscious and unctuous on the mid palate but to finish dry. I was expecting this wine to be more developed than it was - this has another 5 years in it. A thoroughly delicious wine and still fresh. One of the 1001 Wines.

2004 vintage, it has held up amazing. So complex with baked/ dried fruits and such an amazing color.
