Home Ranch Estate Alexander Valley Zinfandel 2012

Dug around on the wine rack at the state store and found this beauty. Maybe a little past its prime, but really smooth and delicious. — 8 months ago

Dry Creek Valley Cortina Zinfandel 2018

— a year ago

Angela's Table Sonoma County Zinfandel 2007

A classic Zin that has aged beautifully. Dark ruby color with a touch of brick on the rim. Aromas of red/blue berries with hints of bramble and spices. Ripe (but not jammy) red/blue berry fruit on the pallet with just a hint of oak on the finish. Nicely integrated and well balanced tannins and acidity. Creamy texture. Thank You Ron B! — 7 months ago

Monte Rosso Zinfandel 2011

Incredible stuff, purchased this from winery, always enjoyed their Zin and they have some compelling single vineyard offerings: this is from their oldest vineyard planted in 1880s: inky deep dark completely opaque, looks like current vintage, after several hours it pried loose gorgeous blue & black fruit, vanilla, beef jerky, hoisin sauce, forest, white pepper, smoke, dried herbs… just unbelievable depth & complexity. Huge on palate, muscular firm grippy tannins, so much blue & black berry fruit, liqueur-like, great earthy peppery elements alongside fruit. Smooth rich lingering finish. Forgot how much we paid, but this over delivered and has a LONG life ahead. — 9 months ago
