That same alamandine garnet color i have come to expect. Aroma is fairly subdued by zin standards. Definitely some robust stone fruits like cherry and plum but surprisingly little cocoa or vanilla. Tobacco is providing all the wood notes. Flavor is definitely cherry and plum balanced by a fair bit of acidity and oak tannins. Sweetness is very restrained here leaving a moderate body dominated by fruit and letting the tobacco leaves finish off the palate.
