X Novo Vineyard Chardonnay 2023

2023 vintage. Curious as to how Grand Cru Bâtard-Montrachet (starts in the $400's a btl) tastes, this is an excellent place to start. This effort clocks in at under $100 a btl. 04.23.25. — 2 months ago

Nice. Not tried this vineyard but I think @Ron R put me on to this producer.

Vineyard 1869 Old Vine Zinfandel 2021

Truncated family party notes. This wine was so relaxed and comfortable in its skin. Deep flavors. Soft, luxurious texture. Vines this old are so quietly confident they don’t feel the need to try to impress anyone. I hope I reach this state someday. — 4 months ago

My neighbor who is a Scotch guy brought this out. He wasn’t so keen on it. I liked it. Cranberry with a splash of smokiness. — 15 days ago

Arlyn Vineyard Gamay Noir 2018

If I was tasting blind, I would’ve said RRV Pinot. Aromas of cola, red fruit and cloves. Those aromas transferred to my palate where they were met by a healthy dose of acid. An extended finish. Despite a reasonable 13.5% alcohol, at about 3 hours it stared to make its presence known. — 5 months ago
