Excellent grüner veltliner! This vintage was very lime-forward, but I also tasted grapefruit and white pepper. Bought at Lazy Acres. — 2 years ago

Deep yellow. Aromatic nose, lime beeswax, jasmine, smoke, classic Riesling aromas. Dry with long finish. — 3 months ago
Sharp on outer sides of the tongue, grapefruit, white pepper, clementine and white peach, chamomile, green apple….
Beautiful and lasting flavors on the palette. Great price for a unique wine. — 3 years ago
This 2016 Riesling wine is made from late-harvested grapes, so it is sweet. However, it is sweet in a different way than a dessert wine is sweet. There is no layered sugar, no raisiny note. I get the sweetness of the grapes, and the minerals which accompany them. Stone fruit is apparent, as is the smell of a wet driveway, a whiff of ozone and the faint petrol notes that begin to show in Rieslings over time. This may be one of the best examples of the grape that I have had. — 6 years ago
Limpid onion skin. Bright and sharply focused on the nose, displaying fresh strawberry, citrus pith and floral scents and a hint of minerality. Taut and light on its feet, featuring orange zest, pomegranate and honeysuckle flavors that show very good clarity and spicy cut. Closes taut and brisk, showing very good persistence and a repeating floral note. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, August 2019) — 7 years ago
