Château Bertrand / Sainte Croix du Mont 1999
Brioche, apricot, honey on the nose. Typical bothrytis nose. The palate is made of a very strong acid backbone some apricot and honey touches all along, some nice acid and fresh finish that lasts for ever. This is very good and as good as any average good sauternes out there. 21 years old and banging! — 11 days ago

Apricots, viscous, white peaches, just sweet enough. Delicious. — 5 days ago
What a beautiful specimen. On the nose, the signature of Sauvignon Blanc is front and center. You can't go wrong. In the mouth, the acidity and the salty side like pebbles on sea shores could be confused with a Chablis but the fruity, honey and fatty taste with the taste of the grass is more than enough not to confuse the two regions. A perfect partner with a dish of clams. old white Bordeaux wines are special!
