I’m newly appreciative of Sauternes and found this to be a complex, drinkable wine. Good value — 2 months ago
Clear, pale gold in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary aromas of lemon, gooseberry, and passion fruit; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, medium alcohol, light body, and pronounced intensity primary flavors of honeydew, white peach, and lemon grass with a long finish. This wine is balanced and intense. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. Nellie likes it too. — 3 months ago

Dry, high level of salinity, easy to drink, paired well with salty fish and caviar. — 2 months ago
Pineapple, soft minerality with a honey sweetness. Slightly off dry, (to my taste) and provides perfect structural balance throughout — 2 months ago
Last bottles from a 6-pack. I had two bottles that were sadly riddled with EA, but the other four were sound.
This was one of the wines I served for my annual WWC hosting. All wines served blind.

Always love these, more so than most domestic Bordeaux Blanc style white wines, mostly because of the texture. Straw color in the glass. Quite the tropical aromatics (white peach, mango) but it’s not overpowering. The barrel ferment is apparent with the rounded profile on the palate…the vein of acidity that was there a few years ago is fading, so this showed even more opulent than normal. Honeyed lemon, guava, orange blossom but a backbone of sea salt and herbs snap the structure in place to show nice balance and a nod to Bordeaux. I’d recommend popping now and over the next couple years to enjoy the freshness. — 4 months ago
Honey flavor with a pit fruit finish, smooth and rich, paired perfectly with an apple pie desert at a Commanderie de Bordeaux dinner at the Hope Club. — 9 days ago
Creamy, delicate, floral aroma with a hint of honey. Paired nicely with a white fish dish at a Commanderie de Bordeaux dinner at Hope Club. — 9 days ago
Superb. Blend sauv Blanc, Ribolla Gialla, semillon, tokai friulano — 15 days ago
Stewed pears, golden apples, just shy of tropical fruit territory — a month ago
Very intense but well-balanced. Tightly wound on the nose with lanolin and beeswax, and a little bit of lemon curd, giving more lemon and viscosity on the palate. Long finish — 2 months ago
Exceptional quality!! Blend is primarily Garganega that is rounded out with small amounts of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Trebbiano. Pale straw color. Plentiful aromas of tropical fruit, white flowers, wet slate and a light touch of smoke. Flavors of peach, cantaloupe, lemon zest and raw nuts. Beautiful volcanic mineral/saline thread on the long lasting and crisp finish. Medium bodied with a slightly waxy/mouth coating texture. Rich and savory. So hard to put down. Thanking Petey and Kase for selecting this beautiful Father’s Day wine. — 3 months ago

Light golden in color.
Beautiful nose of honeydew, apples, honeysuckle, tropical fruits, spices and melons.
Full-bodied with high acidity and long legs.
Sweet on the palate with apples, citrus, mangoes, spices, honeysuckle, herbs, honey and light earth.
Long finish with sweet honey notes.
This delicious 9 year old Sauternes is drinking beautifully now. Complex and interesting. Elegant and fruit forward. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel.
Feels very fresh, but a bit subdued and earthier right now, compared to other vintages. Will continue to age nicely in the next 40 years.
Loved the nose more than the palate here. So expressive.
