Clear yellow color, pineapple, tropical fruits, white flowers, sea on smell. Very long persistence, easy to drink, rounded on mouth. It pairs perfectly with seafood. A very good one — 7 days ago

A blend of 50% Malbec, 24% Cab Franc, 18% Merlot & 8% Cab Sauv. Aged in 100% new French oak but in 2013, half of the wine was put in smaller 160 liter oak barrels and I read that Santiago Achaval claims the fruit is more expressive, wow I would not have thought that. Aromas of fruit and floral scents with slightest waft of cedar was present, makes the aforementioned statement somewhat true. Raspberry and cherry flavors, hints of spice, fine tannins, well balanced lingering ending with juicy mineral finish. Nice, Great value! — 2 months ago

Purchased this bottle in Havana last year. The locals recommended it as the ultimate sipping rum. This is a super smooth rum — 2 months ago
A wine we brought back from a wine bistro called Boconariz in Santiago a couple of years ago, this is absolutely terrific. Beautiful, intense red-purple color, the tannins are sweet and rich with a great hint of camphor on the nose. Well-integrated tannins with a rich mouthfeel, that camphor component is a bit more amplified on the palate, but not overwhelming by any means. Lingering, balanced finish. Hard to gauge how much longer this will continue to develop, but my guess is that’s it’s peaking right now. Terrific example of a carmenere! — 2 months ago
Iodé minérale puis floral. Belle longueur. — a month ago
This nose cones on slowly, smokily..
Dark fruits here - lots of seeded - pip action. Roasted violets, crushed pomegranate, complete with rind and pith. High acid fruits slap those first fruit thoughts right out of the glass. Bing cherry and jolly rancher fruits soar with the acidity in how this ends.
Last wine smuggled back from Chile.

Nice light white. Not too citrusy. — 3 months ago
Smells like an old cellar in a Dusty cave..
Roasted plum, tobacco, cigar box, pure cherry juice, thick, rich, heavy bodied.
Acidified flint finish with a lingering blueberry hue. Worth schlepping back from Vinos del mundo, in the Gran Torre, Santiago Chile.
Opened for the usual couple of hours and needed. Waited one month after travel before opening.
Worth the wait. Yum! South America. — 3 months ago
