On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of Morello cherry, red flowers, black tea, dried green herbs and dry, organic earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from nose. The finish is medium+ and savory. Textbook Sangiovese Grosso and ever pretty. Your experts need to look again here. I never look for Pinot Grigio but after being given this bottle, and finishing it over two tastings, it is worth searching for because it is an 8.9-means you will get more than your money’s worth here.
Dry, perfect with fish, light citrus flavor, minimal lemon bouquet, lovingly on the palate. Find it, enjoy it, don’t put it down. But take it with you as a gift. — 2 years ago

The oak has integrated from my previous note in February 2017 where the influence of oak Barriques was overly present. Sangiovese is not enhanced by too much oak in my opinion and is best matured in large Botti like I said in my previous note like Biondi Santi.
