Fort Ross - Seaview Sonoma County Pinot Noir 2016

2016 vintage. Big fruit along with some structure. Not over-extracted (but close) Medium body. Dark fruit light fruit in flavor town. Some silkiness. Some zest. Nice concentration and tasting better than the last visit. 5.22.24. — a month ago

Fort Ross

Sea Slopes Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

Everything a good Pinot Noir should be. There are subtle fruit notes but still a medium body wine that hold up well. Note the alcohol content is 13%, which for a Cal wine seems low. Kudos to the winemaker for making such an impressive wine without bumping up the alcohol content. FYI, the 2021 was a Costco close out in the San Diego area. — 3 months ago

Not the best showing for this wine. The 14.4% was really dominant tonight — 2 months ago
