RAS évidement, très bien — 6 years ago
Must be at cellar temp!
The warmer this one gets the more things differ..
Smells is age - hazelnut skins and walnut shells
Slight saline at the start, medium bodied, cran/ras blend, Thai basil, slight gravelly finish with long lingering tannins. The acidity is a great accompaniment, and has a lime zest finish - Enjoyable.. — 3 years ago
It’s like the California raisins are marching up and down my tongue! If I tasted blind, honestly, I probably would have called it a tawny. Paired with chicken ras el hanout and it cut the explosion of flavor much better than the 2012 Kongsgaard chard we had opened for dinner. I guess the Kongsgaard will be the dessert. This zin definitely has complexity, but it’s probably not for everyone — 6 years ago
Lovely, perky pet nat. Berries. Of the straw and ras kind. — 5 years ago
Adriana Fabbro
Refined but also absolutely savage. Weightless. Black pepper, shrooms and a panoply of herbs and spices (mint, ras al harout, etc). Fruit didn’t come through until after almost an hour in the glass. Black currant and red plum still there. This wine takes me somewhere. Unquestionably one of the best wines I’ve had all year. — 2 years ago
