So smooth with bright acidity, ripe fruit and a spicy finish.
Aged 18 months in 30 % new oak….80 % French and 20 % American.
The remaining 70 % in second fill French oak.

Happy birthday, Dido! 83 is worth a great bottle and this delivers.

Phenomenal. Every other year I open one of these bottles from 2016 and the evolution keeps impressing me. On the nose, has a character of rainy ancient west coast forest. On the palate, Blackberry, blueberry, with hints of dark cherry. Blended perfectly with a rich, aged, leather. Hints of cedar wood, slightly smoked. Perfectly balanced. Only going to keep getting better over the next few years. — 3 years ago
