One of my favorite wines! Love how crisp & easy to drink it is. — 6 months ago
Delicious. Expressive and composed nose shows sappy cherry, moist loam, graham cracker spice, and a slight resiny note. Very Burgundian. In the mouth it’s quite elegant. Deep fruit in a bone dry package, lots of crushed stone minerality. Very long. Soft texture. Hint of porcini. The only quibble is that alcoholic heat peaks through a teeny bit. — 7 months ago
very good one i had recently. 2016 drink in 2024 — a year ago
Affordable steak night wine. BlackBerry forward. Great option to serve guests preferring cab sauv over Malbecs — 7 months ago
Winebow made on west side of Hwy 1 cool night hot days closer to Pacific so ripe wine 39.99-36.67 — 7 months ago
This was good. It needs some time to open up and breathe for the full flavor to bloom. Once those sophisticated notes of berry, basil, and leather begin to tingle, I am reminded that Q3 taxes are overdue and the basement still needs formal radon testing. I will be having a second glass. Another good Aldi provision. — 3 years ago
This wine is a medium-dark purple in the glass. Aromas of brambly cherry are adorned with anise, leather, pepper and clove notes. On the palate there is red fruit and oak spice with a savory coffee angle. The tannins are firm and the acidity is fresh. A lengthy finish leaves the savory aspect strongest. Pair with any beef or pork, or even a dish based in tomato sauce. — 4 months ago
Sweeter than expected but neutral — 7 months ago
Bold fruit forward Paso Robles Zinfandel. Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas of cooked raspberries, cinnamon and vanilla. Red and black cherry, blackberry and black raspberry on the palate with hints of coffee and black licorice. Black pepper spice note on the lengthy but elegant finish. Nice balance of acidity and alcohol and tannins (though noticeable) are in check. Luscious texture. Thanks for sharing, Keith S! — 8 months ago
