Just love wines from the Etna region in Sicily, think junction between Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo, structured but medium weight on palate, long finish, it’s not a powerful wine, — 6 years ago
2005 vintage. Orange peel, watercress, dill and some meatiness in the nose. Light-medium body. A dead ringer for a comparably-aged Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars Fay or SLV cab. Def on the feminine side and a little tobacco and cinnamon on a lengthy finish. Top of its’ particular bell curve and has another 3-4 years at this station/junction. Lacks the stuffing to go farther but a very respectable showing nonetheless. Zero speed bumps and well integrated. — 2 years ago

Lovely to pair with a dish that has ricotta, or blue cheese, as I did. It was lightly acidic, but a delicate sweetness takes over before you even notice the acidity. The last notes are a simultaneous experience of honey, melon and citrus. These notes last before gracefully dissipating, but are amplified when paired with the right dish! A 10 all-around for myself and the other individual experiencing this treat! — 2 years ago
Color of light egg white. A bit bubbly. Nose of ripe tropical fruits, like pineapple and mango, sweet Sprite, a bit nutty and a bit spice. Nose is quite decent. Taste also shows sweet citrus Sprite, a bit tinkling, green apple, roasted nuts, and a bit peppery. Aftertaste is medium long with savory notes from the taste, spicy sweet. Good flavors and above average. — 3 years ago
