Every time we have this wine, I smell our vacations here... our anniversary trips, our family dinners on the way home from water polo tournaments.... dinners around the park and buying flowers at the market. Like memories in a bottle, with a sweet nose and savory bite, this wine continues to be one of our very favorites. Especially poignant during the quarantine. ❤️ — 4 years ago

2008 Georges Mugneret Ruchottes-Chambertin. Monthly 19th dinner at Polo. Decanted right as we sat and started drinking 1 hr later. Def needed the time and was even better 2 hrs later. Still a little tight 2 hrs later, but showing its balance and nuance. Red and dark fruit, asphalt. — 3 years ago
