Had at Landini Brothers on 1/11/2026 for Mom’s b-day with the family. Very enjoyable, lighter, balanced Italian red. Paired well with everything and had good fruit and structure. — 2 months ago

First time having Bruno Clair! Nice find on the list at Polo Bar in nyc. Drinking very well. Dried cherries, some earthy / mushroom notes. Seamless and balanced. Nice wine. — 4 years ago
Fiils like nice, but already started to regress. Pity. Wulould like to try younger vintage — 5 months ago

2008 Georges Mugneret Ruchottes-Chambertin. Monthly 19th dinner at Polo. Decanted right as we sat and started drinking 1 hr later. Def needed the time and was even better 2 hrs later. Still a little tight 2 hrs later, but showing its balance and nuance. Red and dark fruit, asphalt. — 5 years ago

On the nose, I get cassis, blackberry, and a touch of worn leather — classic, understated Tuscan character. There’s also a subtle cherry note that adds brightness without turning sweet.
On the palate, it’s very dry, soft, and composed. Nothing overpowering. The tannins are gentle and well-integrated, giving it a smooth texture rather than grip. The finish isn’t long or dramatic — but that’s part of its charm. It doesn’t demand attention; it invites it.
This is a balanced, easygoing Sangiovese blend — elegant, restrained, and quietly satisfying. — 25 days ago
