Very fresh. Typical Rippon plumb and black cherry notes but much more angular and youthful than the big brothers. All the structure without much of the fruit. — 5 years ago

This bottle of 2015 Gabilan Mountains GSM is a fantastic California Rhône blend from Monterey County. Medium plus bodied with aromas of plumb and black cherry. Definitely will buy it again! Cheers! Salud! — 4 years ago
I could smell blackberry before I even got my nose close. A him of plumb and maybe some sweet tobacco and earth. Very smooth. Great with a quality dark chocolate but very enjoyable on its own. Got this through WSJ introductory wine offer. Not bad for a deal introductory wine club! — 5 years ago

Well made, generous Bordeaux blend — balanced and harmonious w/tons of fruit but lots of earth driven elements on nose & palate. Smooth, sturdy tannins and impressive length on finish. You can tell there is pedigree to the fruit their sourcing — 2 months ago
