Bright and citrusy. Good acidity with some pop. Was making an Argentinian dish that call for a cup of dry white wine. Enjoyed finishing the bottle as I cooked. Great GPR — 9 years ago
Off dry. But nice. Different — 9 years ago
This review is for a '13. Haven't reviewed in a while but this wine made me want to get back into it. Popped and poured about an hour later. Dark but transparent maroon. Spicy, big nose. Still some alcohol blowing off. Dark chocolate, cedar, hints of black pepper, raspberry, ripe red fruit. Medium bodied, but bold and spicy like its nose, but very much a Pinot. I love it. Will pick up a case — 8 years ago

2012. Dark maroon. Slightly transparent periphery. Licorice, anise, dominate a nose of bright red fruits with a lot of heat. Let it breath for a solid 3 hrs and it's still hot. Tobacco, black cherry, cassis, oaky tannins. Long finish. Nice. Needs 5 - 7 yrs. 89 — 9 years ago
Popped and poured. Earthy nose. Cedar. Tobacco. Red fruit. Dig.

As for as price point goes, tough to beat. Interesting combo of Tempranillo and Shiraz. Opened and by luck of the draw wired for a full day which may have something to do with my score coming in a little higher. Rich cigar box, and cedar. Juicy red fruit. Really just nice. — 9 years ago

Picked this up at the cellar door in Rioja. Smuggled a case in my luggage. Drinking perfectly now. Dark maroon. Decent legs. Bitter chocolate, caramel, maraschino cherry with a little heat on the end of the nose. Maybe some plumb. Medium body, dry and tannic. Long dry finish. Probably could be cellared for another year or two. — 7 years ago
