A nice level of mousse; citrus and fruit — Etihad lounge Abu Dhabi — 2 years ago
Good, but not my favorite. Very different from the Ruinart we had before. Much darker in color and significantly more tannins. — 3 months ago
All Grenache (no Shiraz). And delicious. Really finds the sweet spot between ponderous, massive global-warming CDP and those people trying to do light picnic Grenache that should be chilled like fruit punch. Nose has kirsch and raspberry ooze, along with dank minerality. Nice flavor intensity in the mouth, but with little flab. Rich fruit quickly turns savory. Nice length and the balance between acids and tannins is well-struck. Should have gotten more. — a year ago

Drinking well. Slightly sherry / honey but less than you’d expect for the age. Solid bubble but lacks the complexity of its pairing — 3 years ago
A perfect and very special Thanksgiving dinner accompaniment. Crisp, strawberry notes, nice and dry. Delicious! — 5 years ago

A perfect balance between oak and fruit (blackberry) from this Barossa Shiraz. Great winemaking from John Duval who has quite the CV. John was Chief Winemaker at Penfolds from 1986 until 2002 being only the 3rd custodian of Penfolds Grange after Max Schubert (creator of Grange) and Don Ditter. In 2020 this wine received Shiraz of the Year and 99 points from the James Halliday Wine Companion. The product of old vines in the Barossa. Luscious but in balance and overall - delicious. — a day ago
