With Pip on Valentine's Day — 2 years ago
Colour is mid Ruby red. Dusty cherries, savoury cherry pip, a touch of menthol. Thought there were hints of caramel oak but I note it was fermented in stainless steel at controlled temperature. Malo in vats of cement, stainless steel and wood (large bottis I would imagine).Good structure for a Rosso - silky tannins. Very enjoyable and a great match with Fettuccine. Drank another bottle 16 weeks later on 1st December 2022 with consistent notes. Drank another bottle on 30th May 2023 - Sweet Cherry , medium weight, more savoury than fruit driven. Also notes of fennel and menthol - tannins M plus but the wine Is young. Drinks as a Rosso, nothing more. — 4 years ago
Love this wine every year. Great nose and palate of white flowers, honey/honeysuckle, stones, a hint of tropical fruit and some underripe nectarine. So easy to drink and great qpr. — 5 years ago
Really cool funky rose — 6 years ago
Smooth and medium body. Plum — 6 years ago
Violet pink rim , violet ruby core. On the nose lovely rose and red cherry notes. On the palate more of the red cherry , some darker fruits and a mineral backbone .. very nicely balanced acidity , ripe fine slightly bitty tannins . Good length. Overall elegant and rewarding , and will improve over a couple more years . — 7 years ago
Agree with Ashley Lanie. So much complexity here for $24 on the shelf. Merlot, Sangiovese, Syrah, and Cabernet. Leather, tobacco leaf, and baking chocolate all wound up in a robe of juicy cherries and red berries. Nose is super mature. Sangiovese explains the acidity. Wine is drinking great! — 6 months ago
Strawberry cola and some blackberry bramble. Nice finish. Not the most complex wine but pretty darn good. Fruit forward pinot with some balance. — 3 years ago

Mistakes at least 30 to 40 minutes to open up fully and when it does it is absolutely lovely. It tastes a lot like a pinot, white and fruit forward. — 6 years ago

Wonderful. Paired well with spiced pork and dark chocolate dessert. — 3 years ago
Nice young Merlot. Mild aroma and tannins — 4 years ago
Bright yellow gold. Inviting nose and big rich palate of plantain, yellow lilies, baked apple, and cinnamon bark plus a little orange peel on the entry. Medium minus plus acidity asserts mostly back palate and finish. Wonderful layers of flavor and opulent richness compensate for the lowish acidity making this a wine to pair with only the richest dishes: seared scallops, duck confit, grilled lobster, etc. Drink now through 2024. — 4 years ago
The Syrah adds a nice sweetness and balances well with the dryness of the Merlot. Berry undertones. Nice to pair with sharp cheese or flavorful stew. — 5 years ago
Vibrant, limpid, ruby. Initial nose of cranberry, bitter raspberry pip, irony mineral tones, tea roses. With air gains a pomegranate and slight beety note as well as some petrichor. Energetic palate with lively acidity. A good foil to salmon cakes with homemade tarragon mayo and Yukon golds persillade. — 6 years ago
So so so smooth and delicious. Full-bodied and amazing. — 8 years ago
