Colour is mid Ruby red. Dusty cherries, savoury cherry pip, a touch of menthol. Thought there were hints of caramel oak but I note it was fermented in stainless steel at controlled temperature. Malo in vats of cement, stainless steel and wood (large bottis I would imagine).Good structure for a Rosso - silky tannins. Very enjoyable and a great match with Fettuccine.
