Colour is mid Ruby red. Dusty cherries, savoury cherry pip, a touch of menthol. Thought there were hints of caramel oak but I note it was fermented in stainless steel at controlled temperature. Malo in vats of cement, stainless steel and wood (large bottis I would imagine).Good structure for a Rosso - silky tannins. Very enjoyable and a great match with Fettuccine. Drank another bottle 16 weeks later on 1st December 2022 with consistent notes. Drank another bottle on 30th May 2023 - Sweet Cherry , medium weight, more savoury than fruit driven. Also notes of fennel and menthol - tannins M plus but the wine Is young. Drinks as a Rosso, nothing more.
