Nice to revisit Pépière - Dressner lost distribution in Seattle for a minute and they’ve been missed. Gastronomic, lovely pairing with salmon and roasted beets. Good concentration, mineral, citrus, saline, smoke. Touch of heat in this vintage. — 2 years ago
excellent for the price! $30 at restaurant affiliated with brewery in Seattle (nine hats pizzeria). Cranberry/blackberry, dark chocolate, cedar. Easy drinker — 5 years ago
Wines from Oregon are not easy to access in Australia so it was great to be offered this one from Prince Wine Store in Melbourne. Mid crimson - transparent in parts. Spiced black and red cherries. A lolly, confectionery jujube like note. Pike Road is the sister winery to Elk Cove. Lovely drinking right now - not for the cellar. We used to buy Oregon Wines when our son was at the University of Oregon in 2007-2008, but we have pretty much run out. Great to revisit Oregon Pinot. — a month ago
Not sure specific vintage because no longer have the bottle but great! “Pike Road - Pinot Noir”. South Lyndale Liquor — 3 years ago
White peach and mango are wreathed in heliotrope and honeysuckle, accompanied by a hazy hint of yeastiness and fermentative “stink” familiar from youthful wines at this address. The midpalate impression frees itself entirely from any haziness, delivering floral profusion and a luscious abundance of fruit utterly transparent to stony, smoky and mouthwateringly marine nuances. “It seems to be a particularly good year for Zeltinger,” observed Katharina Prüm, noting that this particular wine made significant qualitative strides in its first nine months. I can’t wait to witness what lies in store that many years or more down the pike! (David Schildknecht, Vinous, January 2020) — 5 years ago
