Very delicious Italian white paired with sea scallops and linguini. Basically a scampi. Crisp minerality. Would buy again very approachable and enjoyed by a wide variety of drinkers. — 3 years ago
Runt red, full bodied, delicious cherry, raisins, touch of oak, smooth finish. Very drinkable. — 3 years ago
Nice representative amarone - dark ruby coloration. Cherry and spices on the nose. Cherry, prune, spice and chocolate on the palate. Full bodied and rich with a decent finish. — a year ago
We loved this! The lingering taste was the best part of this, can’t wait to try it with food.

Complex. Nice core of orchard fruit, prominent apples, complimented by stone, salt, and maybe a tad of white pepper. Plus, smoke, rose, and grass. Great structure, silky texture, soft on the palate, nice backbone. Very alluring. — 3 years ago

Poggi Wines Twin Palms Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2014, Napa Valley, California
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Fruity nose with blueberries, black plums, red cherries, raspberries, oak, light vanilla, tobacco, vegetables, light chocolates, coffee, black tea, earth, light alcohol, light black pepper and herbs.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with currants, blueberries, tart plums, oak, licorice, spices, dark chocolates, tobacco, herbs, tarragon, rosemary, earth, light vegetables, pencil lead and black pepper.
Tangy finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a very enjoyable Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa valley. Doesn't drink like one, though. Feels more like a right bank Bordeaux.
Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel. Spicy and interesting. Not a typical Napa Cabernet style.
This 8-year-old Is drinking nicely now and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.
I had it 4 years ago, and liked it better this time. Showing more complexity now, which I loved.
Good by itself and better with food. I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.
A blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot and 4% Cab Franc. Aged for 22 Months in 50% new French Oak barrels. A small production of only 976 bottles.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

Minty again. As in ‘13. Deep cassis nose, deceptively rich, the body is much more lifted and bright than the nose would initially lead you to. Minerality but soft. It screams Tuscany. That ineffable quality of underbrush and cedar mixed with blue/black fruits. Of course, I could be imposing this. So much nicer( for us) than most Cali cabs in terms of lightness/acidity. A nice partner w food. Second time w this wine, and I will say that that their use of wood, both piccoli and grande, is deft. There’s weight, but w/o obscuring the fruit or feel.
