Some recent Friday bottles...
Had no clue this wine existed. This is made by Richard Peterson, Heidi Barrett’s father. Very light and enjoyable. Strawberries and cream, strawberry shortbread cookies, cherry limeade and some pink cotton candy. It’s not complex, but it’s definitely easy to drink. At around $18, this delivers. Was expecting a bit more, given pedigree. Primarily Peterson vineyard. Lavender and rose pedal nose. Garnet in color. Strawberry and cranberry combination. — 4 months ago

Delicious though we may have overaged it a bit. — 4 days ago
Dec 28, 2019. Looks like I rated this on after purchase in2014. Had another bottle last night in Tucson W/ Jack D and Caitlin. Still good, perhaps even better after5 years in the cellar. Full bodied, dried red fruit. Yummy. — 3 months ago
A blend of 99% Cabernet Sauvignon & 1% Petit Verdot, aged 24 Months in 70% New French Oak, grapes sourced from eastern side of Napa, on Vaca Range where Hall has vines. In 1873 Captain William Peterson came to Napa and established a winery on Hall’s property, and this winery and site became important for Napa, producing 40% of its entire vintage from that 1 site. Deep Ruby, medium+ aroma intensity of dark berry fruits and aromatic spice. On the palate flavors of ripe blackberry and black cherry fruit, black pepper and cinnamon spice. Chewy structured firm tannins, good integration with lively acidity, great mouthfeel, long finish ending with fruit, spice and bits of minerality. Tasting Sample! — 4 months ago
