Favorita vines are pretty old, they were planted in 1980. It is a clone of vermentino apparently that has established itself in Piemonte.
The wine is dry, personality, freshness and it is easy drinking.
The price is a bonus.

The colour is so attractive, so seductive.
Gloriously luminous.
Fruit is there, rose petals, tobacco, talc powder.
The wine is just pure joy.
It has a tannin thta screams for food of course, but but excellent quality tannin we must state.

When you thi k dolcetto this is the stereotype.
Dark cherry fruit, soft and plumpy.
This wine with salumi or a pizza is a crcker of a wine. Even some cheese. Some piedmontese robiola would be a great match.😋 — 3 months ago
