Pazo Casanova

Casanova di Neri

Tenuta Nuova Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2017

Tasted blind . Medium deep , garnet core , garnet rim . Quite sweet spiced nose , slightly deeper cherry , riper slightly less fresh . Black tea . On the palate this is deeper and richer , more extracted in style . Darker cherry , blackberry , quite high acidity but slightly drying tannins . This is quite intense and with lots of presence, reasonably long , dry spice , dried dark cherry finish . Really quite young . Needs more time , better in 3-5 years and will last well a further 5-10 — 2 days ago

Lots of minerality, smells of petrol. Interesting yeasty undertones. Great for sipping, be cautious pairing with foods — 2 months ago

Pazo das Bruxas Rías Baixas Albariño 2023

You know where this wine kicks ass? In Kauai. So tropical, well balanced, good fruit, but awesome acidity with lemons, some pineapple, maybe stone fruit, so freaking delicious and perfect with seafood. — 3 months ago

Casanova di Neri

30 ° Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2019

Opens up with bright fruit - cranberries, apples, but then takes off into smoky tones underlying licorice, chocolate and carob. An initial acidity also blends into smooth tannins and a long finish. — 3 months ago

Il Nero di Casanova Toscana Sangiovese 2020

Wonderful wine! Dry as the Sahara desert, complex nose, cherry, herbs, very small touch of citrus. Long lasting on the palette. Paired beautifully with a crispy duck leg confit — 3 months ago

Pazo de Bruxas (Familia Torres)

Rías Baixas Albariño 2023

Bright lemon color with stone and tropical fruit aromas and floral citrus scents. On the palate flavors of pear, apples and peaches with lime citrus zest and notes of chalky salinity. Well balanced with pleasing lively acidity, long finish ending with mineral, citrus and wet stone nuances. Very nice! — a month ago

Gran Vino Pazo Barrantes Rías Baixas Albariño 2020

Somewhat rounder and not quite as dry as some other albarinos out there. Very pleasant balance between fruit, acidity, alcohol and small remaining hints of sugar. — 3 months ago
