Red fruit, spice, tannins integrating but still there. Wonderful spot now, but will certainly last a lot longer. — 3 months ago

Reserve Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2022

2022 vintage. Medium body. Great QPR. Expressive nose and flavors without being opulent or overwhelming. Nice balance, especially for the price. 3.27.24. — 2 months ago

Dilection Brut Millésimé Rosé Champagne Blend 2015

9.1

The 2015 vintage kicked out 1852 as the hottest vintage in Champagne until 2018 came along. This is mostly Chardonnay and the rest Pinot Meunier. No dosage.

Leads with cherries that have a liqueur quality. Very ripe, juicy & strawberries, some black raspberries, blood orange, guava, very, thick, almost foamy mousse, limestone & chalk powder, some white pepper, only hues of sea fossils, light sea spray, white spice with heat as it sets, red & pink roses with a touch of spring flowers, excellent, soft acidity, softly woven & structured, well balanced and a subtle polished finish that lasts over a minute.

Cuvée Alexandre Apalta Vineyard Carménère 2022

Blackberry, chocolate and spicy aromas. Medium tannins and juicy. Went nicely with a hamburger blended with mild jalapeño and cheese. I would get this wine again. — 2 months ago

Révélation Extra Brut Blanc de Meunier 2014

9.4

Small grower production…only 900 bottles. All fermented in neutral oak. You sense that as soon as you smell it and definitely on the palate. Slightly bruised pear and apple, apple cider, ginger ale, malt, older mixed citrus-grapefruit dominate, bread dough, yeastiness, crumbled chalk & limestone, sea fossils, saline, mixed withering lilies, round acidity, excellent structure, balance, tension, length and nicely not over polished finish that last minutes and lands on beautiful minerality. As good as it is today, room for improvement going forward. Hold at least three years. @ K&L Champagne tasting. — 6 months ago
