Dark purplish color, opaque. Fragrant nose. Notes of red earthy fruit, tea, some oak, a little rose petal, and some menthol. Good core of fruit in the mouth, with tannins nicely resolved. Medium plus finish. Good showing. Gave it 4 hrs of air. Ready for consumption. — 3 days ago

Tasted blind & thought a muscadet on lees or a Loire Sauvignon blanc blend. Just absolutely riveting when you consider the retail under 15$-this producer churns out a whole line of great QPRs, like their Aglianico. San Valentino Sangiovese Blend 2012

My second of four bottles purchased (so far). The first bottle was overrun by brett and smelled like a stockyard. This bottle, however, was amazing and wild AF. Popped and poured, aromas of orange rind, grapefruit, pineapple (fight me), dark fruits, teriyaki...I mean...seriously? Finish has this immediate savory thing going on. And it all works folks. Enjoyed over three hours and it just got better and better. Killer vintage for San Valentino. — 19 days ago
