Always feel that once a Bea wine hits 10yrs then it starts to show its true self... Magical.

Savory & bitter. Red sour cherries, Medicinal. A style that is easily identifiable as very Bea. Tannins are softening up.

Volatile & Acetic on nose - spoiled experience . Full, structured and juicy bramble fruit. Persistent tannins.

In a great spot right now. Inky Black fruit with the signature Bea e.a. lift. Secondary earthy funkiness starting to show (in a good way). Drink now.

Dusty and rustic with wild strawberry, dried jasmine, and a pronounced mineral core. Perfect with leg of lamb and a La Tur aperitif!

This 04 Pagliaro was my favorite wine of the dozens we tasted from these two lovely gentleman. 04 was problematic in Montefalco, but proved to make a wine of perfect harmony with gorgeous acid to go alongside the tannic nature of the Sagrantino grape.
