Sweet side nice body. — 6 years ago
Nose has sappy, ripe but slightly tart dark cherry, and a beautiful almost Burgundian gravel thing. A wee bit of baking spice. Tannic and youthful in the mouth. This needs a couple of years at least. Very Cotes de Nuits in style. Very nice length and a savory style. Was OK with Thanksgiving turkey, but the turkey accentuated the tannin. This needs beef (prime rib!) to shine. — 8 years ago
A new discovery for me and a brewery I shall return to. Rutland Panther is a low 3.4 ABV dark mild with a smooth taste hinting at tastes of chocolate and rich fruit.
It is a delight to drink, and from this small brewery. Grainstore was founded in 1994, and is based in the small town of Oakham in England's smallest county, Rutland. — 3 years ago

The nose has citrus, almond, and cotton candy notes. The palate has apricots, almonds, citrus, and buttery notes. Fantastic with shrimp, salmon, and The Black Panther on the projector in surround sound. #WakandaForever #RestInPowerChadwickBoseman #BlackPantherWatchParty — 6 years ago
Located in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA, the ‘Schindler Vineyard’ is a very small site planted to Pinot Noir and set on marine sedimentary soils. A light whiff of salinity runs through the nose with kirsch and peat moss aromas that all meld in the glass. The palate has good freshness and energy with bright reed fruits that dance with shades of blood orange and minerals. The seductive mineral and dark fruit driven finish lingers long on the palate. Enjoy this fantastic new bottling over the next decade or more. Drink 2019-2029- 92

Drinking quite well for a 30 year old from a media panned vintage. I should add that I’ve had a fair number of pleasurable experiences with aged 1995s. In fact, Domaine Serene’s 1995 from magnum last year was flat out great. Back in these days the Winemakers Cuvée was the entry level Panther Creek Pinot Noir. This one today is not at all tired by color, aroma, or taste. Blackberry fruit, firm fresh acidity, and resolved tannins. Has granular sediment poking three-fourths in that should be decanted off. My mistake but still enjoyable to the end. — 7 months ago
