Took a sideways step on a sunny London day and decided to open this; a previous commentator mentioned that it had 15% Albillo in it and that perhaps accounts for the smoothness it has, immediately complicated by rich kirsch cherries. Drinking pretty well right now and could conceivably take another couple years to really show what it can do. — 8 months ago

Loved this Pais/Carignan red blend from Chile! Light red, fruity, serve slightly chilled. — 2 years ago
Quite complex, intense nose. Aromas of ripe dark fruit, some herbal notes and moka. Bold, round, smooth

Decent for the price. Somewhat natty pais. — 4 months ago
Light and dry but funky, almost yeasty tannins mixed with berries. Distinct old vine Chilean varietals that I would like to see more of. — 2 years ago

Tasted over 2 days. Not much different after a couple hours of air. Solid traditional style Barolo. Much more open then when tried 3 years ago. Shy on the nose with earthy dark fruit, truffle, leather which were also predominant on the palate along with undergrowth, tobacco, and balsamic. Balanced acidity and soft yet expanding tannins. Finish is long with lingering tannins and an explosion of minerals. This is a hearty rather than a fruity Barolo. — a month ago
