This is really a Scotch that just happens to be made in Ireland, not so much an Irish whisky. Having said that, it’s a good version of a single malt scotch! Not great, but I think it would be a wonderful introduction to the style. Malty, fruity with just a hint of sweetness - it goes down easy. I drank this way too quickly. Would definitely recommend for a novice scotch drinker. — 2 years ago
This stuff is dangerous. Smooth, light on the tongue, but not simple. A light gold color, some kind of melon note and vanilla flavors. Great at this price; points for cost/benefit ratio. At Cory's in the freezing cold. — 5 years ago
Delectable and smooth. Well balanced tannins. Oak, leather and blueberries. Excellent pairing with steak dinner. Seems to gain some unique flavor note from the Irish whiskey barrels that I can’t quite place. We drank it well decanted, which may contribute to the smoothness. — 6 years ago
Really nice Irish Whiskey. The nose wasn’t that appealing, but the taste was much better. Nice bite at the end, smooth at the front. — 7 years ago

Day 23, 2025 Whisky Adventure Calendar. Just adding this for completion. Had it several times before, one of my favourite whiskeys. — 6 months ago
Is hard to imagine how anything could be much better from nose to lingering finish. But, I'll keep searching for the perfect dram. — 5 years ago

Color is light caramel. Nose is quite sweet with aldehyde, caramel, crayon, and hotness strength. Taste is very smooth considering she is just 12 yr old. Nice creamy milk like flavor, wood chips, dried fruits, honey, and flowering note. Really impressed by the flowering and honey note. Aftertaste of warmth, some apple, dried fruit, and more flowering note. A must try 12 yr old. — 9 years ago

Virgin Oak, Seasoned Oak & Sherry Barrel casked. Dried fruit notes and spice. Nuanced Sherry note and a medium warm finish. Fine for the money. — 7 years ago
