Sandhi Sanford & Benedict Pinot Noir 2014: Medium-light body. Soft tannins. Medium acidity. Beautiful light red/cranberry color. Delicate perfumed nose with bright red fruits (cherry, strawberry & raspberry). Orange peel. Dried herbs. Earth. Cedar. Smooth easy finish. All in all, I loved, loved, loved this wine. It was drinking perfectly, beautifully balanced and a great representation of the local Sta Rita Hills terroir; felt like I was drinking a Burgundy wine! One of the best Santa Barbara Pinots out there! Happy Sunday Funday! Cheers🍷 — 3 years ago
Last of a 3-pack. Consumed one in ‘22, ‘23 and now ‘24. Holding up well.

I don’t drink much rosé, but when I do, I like the darker/bigger profile, and this achieves that at a really nice price. When compared to the first bottle two years ago, the change is minimal (if at all). This style allows for a bit of age to carry it easily. Deep red-pink in the glass. Aromatics of juicy watermelon and red-gummy fruit (raspberries) upfront as well as some red floral notes. On the palate, it has spiced strawberries, black cherries, and a little blood orange citrus at the finish. If I had more, I’d enjoy over the next year or two. — 5 months ago
Orange pink color. Cherry blossom & strawberry nose. Creamy soft citrus taste with a crisp finish. — 4 years ago
A Pinot Gris rose from the Loire. Bright apple flavors that mingle with orange-like minerality that linger on the palate deliciously. — 4 years ago
Not much info these days on the label about the grape varieties used, but it’s fruity, full flavored, an almost viscous body, and it’s orange in color. Not much skin astringency for an orange, but you know all they’ll talk about is the color. Good value though.
The vineyard website suggests a 44.5/25/14/9.5/7 blend of Grenache Blanc, Pinot Gris, Grenache Gris, Orange Muscat and Chenin Blanc, with aromas of stone fruit and citrus with flavors of peach, apricot and citrus peel. Fair enough — 7 months ago
Drinking well at 4 years of age. Viognier, grenache blanc, Marsanne and Roussanne. Silky texture, crisp, medium acidity with lemon skin, white peach, golden apple, white flowers, herbs, wet stone, and beginning to show some dried orange and lemon nuances. Beautiful with salt-roasted fish. Will drink well for another few years. — a year ago
Lovely easy to drink orange vino! — 3 years ago
Jästig och tråkigt pepprig inledningsvis. Efter ordentlig luftning klev en angenäm fruktighet fram. Helt ok! — 4 years ago
