Perfect wine to open the palate and the appetite. Compliments of @Scott@Mister A’s-San Diego. Cheers to drinking with friends I’ve made on @Bev Delectable. — 6 months ago

Medium ruby , narrow garnet rim . This is a touch herbal , with some dark cherry, blackberry , meaty notes , slightly wet slate notes. After a while this opens up a bit more showing more dark fruits , black pepper , cherry jam and violet . On the palate this has good cherry , slightly smoky , herbal dark fruits . Nicely elegant on the palate , fresh acidity and slightly chalky tannins . This is drinking well now with time , but with still show well over the next 5-10 years. — 10 months ago
A very happy find, this grenache/syrah blend. It's heavy on the cassis, licorice, and stone. Some blood orange on the bitter-ish finish. But, not unpleasant in any way. I agree with Scott's note: This wine does go down softer than most CDR's. @Scott@Mister A’s-San Diego

Second of two bottles. First was a bit muted, second bottle had a more fragrant nose and deeper palate. — 7 days ago
