Crisp, crisp, crisp acidity with only 11 % alcohol by volume.
Bring on the fresh oysters.

Fun wine, extended skin contact - looks like a Rose and tasted like one too: mix between tart red fruit & savory notes, some potpourri, fairly exotic. Palate was bit more austere, open canvas for variety of light fare. We had huge salad w/smoked salmon and it was fantastic. Balanced and dry finish, go find some Georgian wine! — 5 months ago

First vintage under the ownership of Le Pin. The nose starts off with abundant of blueberry, blackberry and cassis, and then turns to warm spices, black pepper, graphite, and hint of cigar box. Medium to full elegant body. Bitter sweet long finish.

Realm Cellars
Houyi Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2013
Been a big fan of Nine Suns for years. This was first bottle of Realm’s Houyi vineyard I’ve tried from my cellar. I believe ‘13 was Realm’s first year with Houyi fruit. The nose is incredible. With an hour decant, the wine is silky and seductive. The fruit is perfectly matched by the tannins and acidity. Everything working together perfectly. The fruit is bold and black, lovely minerality. Just an incredible mouthfeel. Nice finish. Next time I have this ‘13 I’ll have to have it side by side with a Nine Suns ‘13. This is drinking fantastic right now. — a year ago

1 hour decant(some chunky/fine sediment). A striking dark ruby red color. On the nose: jumping from the glass is ripe dark fruit, currants, mint, floral, wet forest floor, truffles, and some roasted meat. Taste: smooth, soft, silky, seductive wine with plum/cherry, earth, cedar, minerals, and a medium plus smokey spiced chocolate finish. YUM! — 24 days ago
