Gorgeous, but trumped by the other whole bunch pino on the table (from Macedon, Aus). To me, it feels like an incomplete wine but BM said it just needs time. Smells and taste like a fresh ferment. Nose was floral, bunchy, brimming with juicy red fruits, and also reminded me of jujubee tea. The palate was so fresh and energetic, finish made me think of cincau/grass jelly. Looked at it over 3 days, even more floral and developed a spiciness even. Was hoping for that mineral kick. Still looks like a fresh ferment to me, but an awesome one! — 10 days ago
We have finally arrived in France and I am trying a few new champagnes. This one is refreshing and a typical b2b, at this price point recommendable. — 8 days ago
Vin délicieux, facile à boire, agréable, ne sent pas l’alcool, plutôt rond, j’aime beaucoup ! — 8 days ago
Pretty fantastic even though it’s clearly on its last legs. Has that rich, oxidized, nutty thing going on but still tons of acid. Time to hurry up and drink the rest. — 24 days ago
Delicious well made, elegant, rich and balanced. This village has 1er Cru quality and given the issues with the hail and destruction of vineyards I will not be surprised if it does includes 1er Cru plots, nose is rich with a hint of wet forest, animalistic notes, mushrooms, cassis and black berries, medium body, round, smooth, rich, delicious finish. My score 89, drink to 2022 — 15 days ago
@Delectable Wine this is La Remise IGP.
lovely nose. Meaty, mineral and floral. Lovely dark fruits, big berry, a hint of sweetness and lovely tree bark, palate is fresh and ripe with lovely purity and wonderful velvety texture and a strong firm mineral spine. Lovely depth and freshness with on point acidity. Just delicious and so flavorful. — 21 days ago
Sebastien David is known for what he can do with cab franc. Hurluberlu is fresh, fruity, and mysterious with no indication of the vintage anywhere. The importer (T. Edward) informed me this is 2018. It’s very good.
Concrete only, whole cluster, but less crunchy and pyrazine driven than what I was expecting. It’s elegant, soft, and loaded with minerals. Salty air playing against sour wild blueberries, green strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries. Bullseye ripe. — 7 days ago
Borgueils for me are like cru Beaujolais- joyous, vibrant & low tannins. Wines to make you smile. This has red & black currants, like Ribena, which for any Brits out there, is one of those delicious flavor profiles I just adore. Less on the pencil shavings here & more of the Ribena. — 19 days ago
Mighty little grapes that yield very little amount of juice. Peppercorn! Light and very delicious. — 24 days ago
