Slightly cloudy, amber, cherry juice! Slight fizz at the end but could that be from my overheated and broken wine fridge? Possibly 0 years pas the peak but still amazing. #winebid — 8 years ago

I love this producer, but this is the worst name of a wine, ever. When I bought these over 3 years ago, Doug told me to hold a couple and let them age. He was right. Full bodied Rosé with spicy red fruit. Reminiscent of Bandol with a few years in it, with more body and richness. — 11 years ago
Lovely full bodied Chardonnay. Nose of pear, warm sugar, golden apple, and toasted almond. Lemon curd on the palate with quince notes and of course some tropical as it warmed. Caramel and creme brûlée finish. — 12 years ago
Bought it a benefit auction. Somebody had good taste. — 3 months ago
Great winery to visit — 7 years ago
This has a very RRV characteristic that I don't normally see in Dry Creek, except maybe Nalle. It has a lifted bright bramble cranberry fruit I love and a transparancy. It reminds me very much of the Harvest Moon Pitts home vineyard but a bit softer and riper.. I love this wine. ( also a bit higher in ABV than Harvest Moon.) No apparent oak whatsoever. Excellent. Want more and let age 2 more years. — 10 years ago
Dynamite. Low alcohol zin that goes perfectly with food. Loved it. Loved the company, loved the garden fresh veggies and penne pepperonata. — 10 years ago
Great wine, easy drinking — 11 years ago
Very, very focused and bright with pure fruit and great transparency shine in this one. Wonderful acidity, round medium tannic structure, and elegance in smoothness. Black raspberry, blackberry, tobacco, vanilla, and some stems in the flavor aroma profile. — 11 years ago
Dark purple in color with a wide purplish/ reddish rim.
Sweet nose of blueberries, cherry pie, oak, spices, tobacco, brown sugar, licorice and light herbs.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with blueberries, currants, plums, cherries, wood, spices, dark chocolates, light earth, tobacco leaf, herbs and peppercorn.
Fine grained tannins on the finish with tangy raspberries.
This is a very enjoyable Zinfandel based blend from Dry Creek Valley. Showing mild complexity at this point, with a nice, smooth mouthfeel.
This 3-year-old is starting to drink nicely, and will get better in the next few years. Easy drinking and good by itself.
An elegant style of Zinfandel. Not in your face kind of wine.
Good right out of the bottle and good for parties.
A blend of 60% Zinfandel and 40% Cabernet sauvignon. Aged for 11 months in (20% new) French Oak barrels. Only 373 cases made.
13.9% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

Decanter worthy! Wild cassis to luxury leather. Truly one of the best California Cabernets I have ever had, the other was 1984 Mayacamus Cabernet. Next up - 1988 Nalle Family wines Cabernet. — 10 years ago
Superhunajainen Nalle Puh -samppis! Jälkimaku on kuin apilankukkia imeskelisi. — 11 years ago
"Odedi"
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Fruity nose of red currants, plums, cooked cherries, spices, light oak, chocolates and peppercorn.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, cooked cherries, spices, oak, licorice, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, light earth and peppercorn.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 9 year old Zinfandel from Dry Creek Valley is still drinking beautifully, but will not last long, so drink up. Still holds enough acidity to balance the fruits.
Rich and fruit forward. Elegant and nicely balanced. Tangy and spicy. Complex and engaging.
I had this vintage 4 years ago, and it is drinking so much better now.
Delicious by itself as a sipping wine.
A field blend of 91% Zinfandel, 5% Petite Sirah and 4% Carignan. Aged for 11 months in (25% New) French oak barrels. A small production of less than 4,000 bottles.
13.9% alcohol by volume.
