This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Dry Creek Valley. Nicely balanced with a nice, soft mouthfeel. Elegant and fruit forward.

Dry on the palate with a tangy finish, soft tannins and raspberries.

Showing black cherries, strawberry pie, light cedar, chocolates, coffee, vanilla, licorice, spices, tobacco leaf and herbs.

This 6 year old from the great 2015 vintage is showing nice complexity now.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 3 hours of airtime.

Shows a great nose after an hour of airtime. Delicious once it opens up, so be patient. Gets much spicier after 5 hours.

Very enjoyable by itself or with food. Spicy, engaging and interesting.

I had this vintage a couple of years ago, and what a great surprise this is now. Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 years.

Great to see a moderate alcohol Cabernet from California. A great wine to have all by itself.

13.7% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

It's time for my #FridayCabernetfix. Here's a nice one from Sonoma County.

Deep ruby in color with a nice reddish rim.

Fruity nose with blueberries, black currants, cherries, wood, vanilla, spices, licorice, black pepper, coffee and cloves.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with plums, cherries, blueberries, wood, cloves, earth, coffee, light cola, graphite, spices, bitter herbs and peppercorn.

Medium plus on the finish with soft tannins, spices and tangy raspberries.

This is a very enjoyable Cabernet Sauvignon from Dry Creek Valley. Showing mild complexity, at this stage, with a nice mouthfeel.

Nicely balanced, although still young. Would be better in the next 5 to 10 years, as It gets more complexity. The tangy and spicy finish, makes it interesting.

This Californian Bordeaux blend is more subdued than the ones that are being made today. Less in your face kind of wine. Old School California Cabernet 😊

Good by itself or with food, and needs a couple of hours to open up properly.

I paired it with cheeses and crackers. It was very nice with the aged English Cheddar cheese.

A blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot. A small production of only 120 cases.
