Très bon ! On visait la mule noire mais celui ci était bien bon — a year ago
It stormed out of the gates with aromas of strawberry and pink peppercorn. Wow, what a statement! And then the performance mellowed - coy about revealing more, especially on the palate. Eventually, air did coax out beautiful floral, white pepper, clove, plum, and even tea aromas. The palate however was as stubborn as a mule, offering just bright cherries and sometimes blackberries, on a silky light-to-medium body. As easy as this was to drink, you'd be as foolish as we were not to give it enough time to reveal all it's facades. An impressively complex wine from an underrated variety. — 4 years ago

Great lunch wine! Fruity and easy drinking but still nice structure and acidity — 6 years ago
Mule berry on the nose. First taste brings out Blueberry and Teaberry. Fabulous finish of licorice and mild tobacco. Lovely all around dark current blend. Nice. — 6 years ago

Fabulous nose. Plum and Honey suckle. Mule berry mouth feel, smooth early. Nice earth tones with fruit late. Leather late which accentuates the Pinot Noir grape to its fullest. Perfect with a grilled Delmonico. — 3 years ago
Mule berry on the nose. Good flavor of flowers and tea berry. Leather and sweet licorice. Yum. Great siper. Nice red berry and cherry finish. — 6 years ago
Yes! Worth it! Recommend it! The hints of citrus are there when you sip it simple or try it in an old fashion or a mule. — 6 years ago
Solid drink and besides vineyards, veggies, redwoods and a drink what could be wrong with that — 8 years ago
15-yr. old Finger Lakes Gewurz, still alive and kicking like a mule. Very brassy golden color. Like a trumpet. Nose still showing some Gewurz fruit, but showing a bunch of unique tertiary notes. Full bodied and off dry. Long lingering finish. Amazingly little oxidation. This is remarkable. — 10 months ago

Oh yeah! Been a few years since I've last had this, but man, this is the perfect example of a double IPA. Having a mule in the Bay Area is great! — 7 years ago
Peppery, bold, quite delicious. — 8 years ago
