Less is better: smooth, dry merlot. A cherry, plum, leather & vanilla. — a year ago
Very light in color with a meaty strawberry licorice nose. Just lovely sweet tannins and plushness on palate but with enough acidity to keep it light on its feet. Surprising medium finish. 🔥for the money. — 3 years ago
Light, juicy, and again, fun. — 5 years ago
Blueberry jam and lavender flowers for ages with a top note of cedar. Mouthwatering acidity and subtle tannins that pick up heft and dryness with time. The first 30min is golden and beautiful, then it starts toughening up. @Morgan Twain-Peterson has done another great job. This is still my favorite of the Bedrock Heritage blends - maybe the coolest Zinfandel site they work with? and a north facing slope — 8 years ago
Light gold in color.
Fruity nose of apples, honeysuckle, light diesel, spices, minerals, sea salt and light earth.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with lemons, apples, pears, light earth, limes and light herbs.
Long finish with limes and lemon juice.
This is a very tasty Riesling from Santa Lucia Highlands in California. Elegant and nicely balanced.
This Single Vineyard Riesling will continue to age nicely in the next 7 years. Tangy and interesting, with nice complexity. Crisp and refreshing.
Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food.
A small production of only 193 cases. Organic.
11.2% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

As good as a Morgan can get? Frances, lift, complexity, Gamay fruits. — a year ago
The ‘17s just arrived so that means it was perfect timing to drink my last ‘16. @Morgan Twain-Peterson says these can age 5-10 yrs, but mine never seem to make it 5-10 months while I let all of the SVs rest in peace. A splash decant really helps the bouquet jump out on these. Rose petal, spice, and dark fruits balanced by wonderful acidity and some light tannin presence. A screaming value year in and year out. — 8 years ago
Very nice with the market salad at Paradise Pantry Ventura, CA Earthy on the meaty end of the Syrah spectrum — 8 years ago
Close to the edge of life on this 2018 but still delivers black tea and a bit of spice. Some bright cherry mid palate with wet stone and dusty earth. Still has a nice finish. Very drinkable and just what you'd expect from an aged Santa Lucia Pinot. — a month ago
Local to me 6 wine tasting best wine of the tasting I’m really like these local syrahs — 2 years ago
A fine wine with lots of fruit and mineral aspects. Can still age a bit — 5 years ago
Globs of cassis with either tar or licorice (both?) bringing up in the rear. Tasty sour cherries give it a lively jolt. The juice totally saturates across one’s taste receptors and remains with you a good 90 seconds from down the hatch. Yes, it’s young....but, if its current structure continues hand in hand this is going to be a classic Morgan down the road. A gorgeous wine! — 6 years ago
2017 Bedrock Riesling from Cienega Valley AVA. Planted in 1963 and dry-farmed. Apparently it’s the second oldest riesling vineyard in California. “Own-rooted in decomposed granite and limestone lovingly tended by the magnificently mustached Pat Wirz,” according to Morgan Twain-Peterson MW. Loaded with flavor. Lime oil and granny smiths with a hint of honey, and lots of rocks. A steal at $25. — 8 years ago

I can’t believe I stopped buying this. Most underrated and best value CA Chard out there. You need to try this! Rich, complex, and just fits my palate. — a day ago
