Pleasantly suprised with the 1015 vintage. Very smooth taste, round and not sour at all. The whole bottle went in so smoothly and the tannins gave me no headache, with most wines they do. — 5 years ago
McCarthy & Schiering, $11
Bursting with tropical flavors, lots of pineapple and guava, almost reminds me of POG juice. Balanced with a crisp acidity and very easy to drink. Amazing for the price, I immediately went back and grabbed 2 more bottles — a year ago
Rich cherry and black currant nose. Color is purple with a watery thin edge. In the mouth it is not as sweet as the nose is. There is a rather fresh acidity bringing balance. It will be accompanied by the veal cheeks and mash. Looking forward to that.
As the bottle was opened anyhow to use a glass in the stew we already started tasting 😉. — 3 years ago
One to save. Too tired to be fancy with describing it. — 5 years ago
Dark rubi robe, nose of spices, tobacco and black fruits with hints of dark cherries. In the mouth its rich but not exaggerated, medium bodied, elegant tanins, well balanced with great freshness. Ends on a sappy and spicy note and one wants more. Really excellent wine that deserves the reputation. Recommended ! — 2 years ago

"this is a wine made from Portugal grapes, and poor, stony soils and in a continental climate characterized by wide temperature ranges. Composed of regional great varieties - predominantly the aragonez, sarah, and Torigo National, it reveals the typical character of its origin. It is intense with rich aromas, complex flavors and is an excellent partner to good food," — 5 months ago
