Lush, full bodied Bordeaux at a ridiculous value. Dense but balanced. All the usual notes of blackberry coulis, currants etc but, man, just eye opening fruit that still feels old school. — 3 months ago
This is the wine of Jean-Claude Berrouet own estate. He’s former winemaker and Technical Director of Petrus and made 44 vintages of Petrus. Black currants, plum, earth, bay leaf, cedar wood, orange peel and a mineral finish. Fantastic value. — 3 months ago
The 2011, absurdly good, the structure was woven and perfect, and the combination of red fruit and richness and earthiness was absolutely heaven. — 3 months ago
It is rare that such a youthful Saint-Emilion Grand Crú would be so approachable if not robust . This is a remarkable value that I bought en primeur 2018 and is a wow value. — 4 months ago
